Karen Walker Dog Trainer Pemberton

We Work with dogs of any age:

  • Puppy – We can begin training at 8 weeks of age “the sooner the better”.
  • Adolescent – At about 10 months the dog becomes a ‘teenager’ and may not listen as well as it used to. Continued training at this time helps maintain the dog’s attention and to reinforce basic obedience.
  • Mature – The old adage “you can’t teach old dogs new tricks” just isn’t true. You can use positive reinforcement techniques to teach dogs at any age. It may take a little longer and a bit more effort — but not always. The longer attention span of a mature dog can be an asset.
